I just can't imagine a world without words, it would be boring, booooooooring as hell. A very, very peculiar world, as words somehow are... magical. People state, though, that a picture says a thousand words, or does it?
You know, when you see a picture, or a painting, you'll feel the beauty, you'll be like, "What a wonderful painting..." You wonder, what kind of genius painter who painted this painting (oke ini kalimat ngocol)? Apparently, you don't see the whole picture, because you quite don't understand the main point: the message, that is. Maybe experts will get it, but we, well, I doubt that.
But when you read a book, you imagine, you feel the beauty, yes, but it's just one little part of the whole 'journey'. Every muscle is numb, you just imagine, you just go, travel to the other world, into book. You live inside it. In other words, you escape the reality. Exciting, don't ya think? :)
It's not that books are sooo marvelous and pictures are not-so-bad, NO! Painter and writer both require some kind of 'superpower', that's what makes their works beautiful.
Well, this is just another wordsmith's way of viewing, don't take it too seriously. :)
